Abstract
Various physical phenomena can be used to measure the powder level in a storage tank. This paper describes an accurate, novel and method employing acoustics to measure the amount of powder in a tank. The proposed method employs a probing pipe in a small loudspeaker. We catch a change of acoustic impedance of opening of a pipe. Change in acoustic impedance produces an output signal.
