Abstract :
In order to support the aged or disabled in the future population-aging society, we have been developing human-assistance robotic system platform using CORBA as communication architecture. We developed hardware base including a robot arm and a mobile robot, the key technologies such as real-time recognition of objects, localization of mobile robot, real-time multimedia, and developed CORBA application servers which can provide some services to aid the aged or disabled. Considering multi-type user of the developed system, we have implemented multiple user interfaces that enable different user to control robot systems easily. In this paper, the implementation of the multiple user interface is presented.
