Abstract :
One of the criteria for high performance cellular systems is having low outage probability. In literature outage probability has been evaluated for the whole cell. In this paper, we develop a method to study a specified sector of the cell instead of the whole cell. We evaluate analytically exact solution of outage probability of a sector of circular cell based on path loss threshold for uniformly distributed users. These outage probabilities are evaluated numerically and compared for various criteria. Finally, simulation is performed based on Long Term Evolution (LTE) parameters in order to validate the analytical solution.
