Abstract :
We have developed a system to optically generate four limes the fundamental frequency of a microwave signal while minimizing filter requirements at the output of the receiver. By directly modulating the laser diode, the system implementation for transmission of data as well as the microwave signal has been simplified compared with previous approaches
