As the popularity of e-governance has been increased in recent years, the comparison about the implementation and results of e-governance in China and South Korea is conducted in this essay. Also the context and drivers for e-government development is analyzed. And the discussion of the digital era governance beyond the theory of new public reform is demonstrated.
