  • Abstract
    It has been proven in this paper that there are two wrong conclusions in smart antenna (SA) application theory for the CDMA system. Here come the two wrong conclusions: 1) only one SA can make multiple CDMA channels transmit directionally on a single carrier simultaneously. 2) SA transmitting beam forming can be realized by amplitude-weighting of transmitting base band signal just like the receiving beam-forming. Therefore, it is better to study carefully whether the reciprocity of SA can work or not in the aspects above. By the way, the corresponding correct conclusions are shown, which will have a crucial impact on the SA application in CDMA system.
