Abstract :
A method is presented for the analysis of nonlinear networks which contain lossy transmission line systems. The method is based on a piecewise decomposition technique where the network is decomposed into linear and nonlinear subnetworks. Topological and constitutive relations of each subnetwork and constraints resulting from interconnection of these subnetworks lead to a set of nonlinear equations. Newton´s iterations are used to solve the resulting nonlinear equations at each time point
