    Regional economy is a comprehensive economic concept which is forming from the economic development internal factors and external interaction of a certain area. It is restricted by the region´s natural conditions, resources development and utilization, socio-economic conditions and various factors such as economic policy. If we want to improve the living standards and development level of a certain place, we must fully understand the place´s existing economic development situation. In this paper, we analyzed the comprehensive strength of Northern China´s economic situation by using the way of principal component analysis method. Finally we received a order of the Northern 5 regions, as an evidence of developing our country´s balanced regional economy.
