Abstract :
Hypercube architecture can be modified for use in certain applications such as a knowledge base where shared data are used very often. A hybrid hypercube architecture in which a single copy of shared data is maintained is considered. The performance of such an architecture can be measured in terms of link cost and the communication cost. The performance measures of the proposed architecture are compared with that of hypercube architectures and that of some hypercube architectures with hierarchical interconnection networks
