Abstract
An analysis of linear tapered slot line (LTSA) or Vivaldi antennas and of arrays of these antennas is presented. The analysis is made using the conjugate gradient-fast Fourier transform (CG-FFT) method. Numerical results on radiation patterns and scattering matrices have been obtained and successfully checked with measurements. The proposed numerical technique has been shown to be efficient and useful for the design of these antennas and arrays.<>
