Abstract :
The MC68332 is a high-performance 32-b microcontroller with reusable macromodules attached to a backplanelike internal bus. The macromodules include a 68020-like CPU, a microprogrammable 16-channel timer, a 2-kbyte static RAM module, a two-channel serial communications module, and a system integration module. The chip includes ad-hoc testability features, including built-in self-test of large regular structures and CPU-independent modular test patterns
