Abstract :
A programming platform that can gain the processing power of a network of idle workstations for distributed processing is presented. It allows users in a workstation to develop and execute distributed applications. Job scheduling is automatically performed. With this platform, users can make use of a simple parallel programming model to develop a parallel program and run it in a network of workstations. This platform eliminates low-level programming tasks such as process synchronization, protocol handling and error recovery
