Abstract :
The likelihood function can be parameterized with 2-D frequencies or their corresponding polynomial coefficients (frequency or polynomial likelihood function). It is found that the maximization of the likelihood function in the 2-D frequency domain is more computationally efficient than a previously proposed algorithm
