Learning from social network is one important way of entrepreneurs´ informal learning. The objective of this study investigates how trust affects entrepreneur´s exploitative learning and explorative learning when entrepreneurs learn from social network. Based on a sample of 129 entrepreneurs of small and medium-sized firms from the TaiZhou urban area and economic development zone, results reveal that trust has a significant positive impact entrepreneur´s exploitative learning, and a significant negative relationship between trust and explorative learning.
