Abstract :
Communication control software must have an architecture that is not influenced by future hardware development and has logical multivendor interfaces for application software that does not depend on the hardware of a particular vendor. A logical model for communication control software is presented, and the design rules for the logical interfaces are described. The results of applying this software to experimental switching nodes are shown
