Abstract :
This paper describes a novel method for suppressing mutual coupling between antenna elements for application in MIMO antenna design. To suppress mutual coupling, several parasitic elements were employed in the proposed MIMO array antennas. Due to the effect of these parasitic elements, mutual coupling is markedly reduced. The proposed method shows that the improvement of mutual coupling is at least 10dB compared with conventional MIMO antenna arrays
