Abstract :
Geological survey results have great economic and social value, which are of basic and strategic importance, in the course of national economic and social development. This paper comparatively analyzed domestic and international public service of geological survey results, from the aspects of service purpose and targets, service methods and means, service institutional system and regulatory policies. It is found that effectiveness of current geological survey results are affected by the existing decentralized information service systems, disjointing with demand and service, unclear incentive mechanism, and so on. Based on the analysis of these issues, this paper constructs and designs China´s public service system of geological survey results, with National Geological Data Center as the core platform, to meet the demands of geological survey results. In addition, some supporting mechanisms including pricing mechanism, classified information management mechanism, and service incentive mechanism are suggested.
