Abstract :
A study of a new high-resolution method called the matrix pencil method for inverse synthetic aperture radar (ISAR) imaging is presented. Simulation comparison of the matrix pencil method and the fast Fourier transform (FFT) method demonstrates the superiority of the matrix pencil method. The matrix pencil method is tested on a real data set and it is found to be very successful as compared to other high resolution techniques
