Abstract
In this paper, a numerical model for two-dimensional unsaturated water problems in the soil is established by the mixed finite element(MFE) method to find the density and flux of water flow simultaneously. The numerical method has been verified and compared by the numerical examples. Satisfactory results and some other significant and valuable conclusions are obtained from studies.
