“Services science”, an interdisciplinary approach to the study and a complex system in which specific arrangements of people and technologies take actions that provide value for others, is considered to be an important factor to foster service innovation and the global economy. However, “services science” is not familiar to the education circles. How does it come into being? Based on the introduction of the creation, the development of “services science”, it shows that “service science” affects service innovation in the following way: conducive to promotion of innovative thought and service innovation, conducive to innovation and personnel training in the services, conducive to establishment of services industry as foundation in the innovation systems, conducive to combination of services and manufacturing and improvement in the industry, management and technology and conducive to transition in China from the world´s factory to the center of the world´s technology.
