Abstract :
The design procedure for a feedback control system, using fuzzy logic control theory, requires the configuration of a meaningful self-learning mechanism. Two particular problems that exist in fuzzy logical control system design (scaling factor choice and steady error reduction) are discussed. Based on an analysis of the problems, an improved and simplified mechanism which uses a scaling factor modifier and a rule modifier is proposed and is demonstrated by MATLAB
