  • Abstract
    This paper presents a method for determining the time-of-flight differences required to evaluate the location of PD signals using 4 antennas. The proposed method calculates the time-difference of arrival between antenna signals using energy windowing and cross-correlation techniques. This method is compared with a standard time-difference technique based on simple thresholding and shows that the cross-correlation technique provides a superior error bar estimation in relation to the thresholding technique.
