Abstract :
Account of its advantages in network throughput, load balance, network coding is introduced into the multicast traffic grooming. A core node structure with multicast splitting, traffic grooming, and encoding/decoding functions is studied, and a dynamic-multicast traffic grooming algorithm based on network coding is proposed. Simulation results show that, compared with existing multicast algorithms, in specific bandwidth granularity of service request, our algorithm improved at a great extent in the aspects of resource utilization, blocking probability.
