Abstract :
A practical approach to the S-parameter sensitivity analysis of planar antennas is presented. It is based on a self-adjoint approach with discrete shape perturbations implemented for method-of-moment grids. Sensitivity analysis and design optimization of a planar antenna is carried out using the proposed technique. An antenna prototype is fabricated and measured for verification of the simulated results.
