Abstract :
Recently, tag movement direction detection methods for efficiently managing inventory and checking for pilferage or shoplifting have been studied. We previously proposed such novel methods that use the difference in the passing time of two antennas without expensive external sensors. Because the readability of RFID systems varies greatly due to their installation environment, measuring under several conditions is necessary. However, it is not realistic to measure in an almost infinite number of real-world environments. Therefore, in this paper, an electromagnetic environment model for evaluating an RFID gate system was configured, a read count number was used as a means to evaluate the accuracy of these methods, and a simulation system that uses those models is proposed.
