Abstract :
This paper presents a study of Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) induced in the head of a person wearing a protection garment without a hood. Electromagnetic fields in the head are determined using a combination of the Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method and the Method of Moments (MoM). The maximum level of ambient electric field, to which a person can be exposed in the case in which he uses a protection garment without a hood, is given.
