Abstract :
This paper proposes a packet error mitigation technique, LT code, to realize a highly reliable wireless body area network (WBAN). First, we measured received signal strength (RSS) as radio propagations around the human body between two antennas attached to the participants. Next, we calculated packet error rate (PER) based on the measurement results of RSS. Finally, to mitigate the packet error, we evaluate the application of LT code to WBAN.
