Abstract :
The features that make multiple multipole (MMP) programs, based on the generalized multiple technique (GMT), useful are reported. Attention is given to generalized point matching, input/output features, and special problems and their solutions. The implementation of a parallel version of the MMP program for the INMOS T800 transputers is mentioned.<>
