            Abstract :
A nonlinear strategy for control of joint angle is proposed for a system consisting of an artificially stimulated muscle, controlling a joint, attached to a known load. This strategy is based on a nonlinear model of the muscle dynamics. The controller is obtained by inversion of this model. Preliminary experimental results show the feasibility of this control strategy
