  • Abstract
    Utility coefficients are assigned to every element of options in a problem for the beginning and also for the end of the problem sequence, based on expert opinions which are expressed as weight ratio matrices. As the problem sequence advances, these utility coefficients are modified to suit the current level of the problem through a dynamic transfer function (DTF). The potential options are determined by calculating the current advantage index, which reflects the short-term perceptions of the experts. This short list incorporates the instant realities at the current level. The final decision is made by the maxi-max algorithm. The quality of the decision is assessed by ratio analysis
