Abstract
In order to enhance the performance of multi-channel systems, a new method for phase uniformity correction is proposed in this paper. Firstly, the phase variances among each channel can be regulated roughly by a single inductor is introduced, and then a more precise method is proposed by adjusting the varactors of 90/180 degree phase shifters assisted by a Phase Locked Loop (PLL). The analysis proves that the later accurate phase adjusting method can achieve zero-degree phase error among channels of a multi-channel system. How to propose phase correction procedure in an application design of a multi-channel super-heterodyne receiver for adaptive phase adjusting is described in details.
