  • Abstract
    A brief description of the superconducting magnetic energy storage (SMES) constructions, their performances and experimental results are presented. Possibilities of their weight-dimension characteristic optimization have been shown. Opportunities for "Dual Use" of such superconducting magnetic systems are considered.
