Abstract
Surface Plasmons and particularly Domino Plasmons have demonstrated to present ideal conditions for THz waveguides. However radiators for this technology had not enough attention in the literature. In this paper we propose the use of dense dielectric substrates to obtain a leaky wave antenna with broadband and constant radiation properties. In order to provide preliminary results of the potential of our proposal a design in the microwave regime has been studied with very promising properties, i.e. very low Side Lobe Level (SLL) of -15dB and low cross-polarization (-30dB in all the directions and negligible in the main plane).
