Abstract
Web-based e-learning can share and reuse learning resources and facilitate learning processes. But the difficulties of guaranteeing the quality and trustworthiness of learning resources make learners and educators have no enough confidence in participating in web-based learning. It is one of the major reasons impeding the development of e-learning. In order to build a quality assurance and trustable e-learning environment, a SOA-based e-learning model with quality certification and trust evaluation is proposed. By evaluation and trust computing, high-quality and trustable education services are recommended to learners. The evaluation model, trust computing formulas and typical e-learning interaction processes are described. A simulation system and case analyses illustrate how the introduced model would be deployed.
