Abstract :
A new rib-loaded disk-loaded waveguide with wider bandwidth than the general disk-loaded waveguide is suggested in the paper. The author develops the method of calculating the axial periodic waveguide by expanding the slow-wave structure´s boundary function in Fourier series, so that it can be adopted in the rib-loaded disk-loaded waveguide. By the method, the dispersion characteristic of a rib-loaded disk-loaded waveguide is analyzed.
