Abstract :
An online instruction/learning environment developed to support individualized learning in Java programming is presented in this paper. The instruction/learning environment employs an online Java compiler to provide the students an online learning environment for Java anytime and anywhere. Furthermore, the instruction/learning environment provides an active agent to monitor and manage the students learning.
