Abstract :
This paper is an overview to the field of error control coding for reliable transmission in a communication system. This work presents the Convolutional code that makes up a reliable communication system, then examine its performance over Rayleigh transmission channel. The results presented in this paper give an adequate conclusion that efficient data transmission could be achieved more reliable using coding in comparison to encoded scheme.
