Abstract
This paper analyses the demands and wishes of farmers´ participating in production techniques training on the base of surveying 511 farmers in Ningbo´s 8 counties. The paper discusses the constraining factors from the aspect of subject, object, and training system, and researches the attending training and satisfaction influencing factor by running Tobit model and regression model. The researcher finds that the most preferred cultivating content is training on excellent variety techniques, the favorite way of training is learning by visiting, the most preferred training time span is one day, and the favorite training schedule is flexible time adjusted according to farming season. The farmers´ training actions are affected by the following factors: gender, village cadres, planting size, sources of income and other factors. The satisfaction degree in the training affected by whether the training ground is fixed, whether the training content is production techniques, whether the organizer takes the advice of those who are willing to be trained, and whether the teachers are experts and so on.
