Abstract :
A high power RF system has been designed, developed and tested for 60 kW power, both in CW and pulse mode. Its many subsystems of stringent specifications have been developed for it. Further, this system has been successfully coupled to radio frequency quadrupole (RFQ) accelerator via rigid coaxial transmission line. This paper describes the design and development of high power RF system and its power coupling to RFQ accelerator in detail.
