  • Abstract
    This paper describes the development and performance of a highly compact Monopulse Transceiver at Ka-Band for Airborne Applications. This transceiver is based on the digital synthesiser. The Ka-band exciter and three channel monopulse receivers are packaged in a small size and interconnected to achieve plug and play modularity and RS422 connectivity with radar controller. The paper presents the design methodologies followed and results of the key performance parameters. The integrated hardware achieves noise figure of better than 4.5dB on receiver channels, with better than 37 dB of isolation among channels and the transmit spectrum with better than -100dBc/Hz phase noise.
