Abstract
Model order reduction (MOR) based on Krylov subspaces generated by matching Taylor series coefficients (moment matching) can not be applied to the finite element models of plane wave scattering problems. This paper proposes an extension of the Krylov subspaces to rectify the problem. The proposed technique displays good accuracy in a band of interest. The reduction in the computational cost and its applicability in wideband studies like radar cross-sections (RCS) are exemplified.
