Abstract :
Based on a new method for the solution of the radiated fields of the stepped-index Luneburg lens antennas, the far field pattern as well as the gain of a stepped-index Luneburg lens antenna may be obtained in various situations. Examining these results, the answers to same problems related to manufacturing Luneburg lens may be obtained. For the more, needed information for feed design also can be obtained.
