Abstract :
3D face recognition is one of the most popular researches at present. However, 3D face model stored in databases can be tampered or overwritten with attacker´s own, which results in that legitimate user failed in authentication or lost their identity. In this paper, we provide a security enhancement scheme for biometric system and implement it in 3D face recognition. In our scheme, a digital watermark algorithm for 3D face model authentication is proposed to guarantee that the 3D face model in databases can not be modified. The difference of recognition performance between method with authentication and method without authentication is measured to evaluate our security enhancement scheme. Experiment results show the scheme and 3D face model authentication algorithm we proposed is viable and valid.
