Abstract :
A background reconstruction algorithm based on the longest stationary series of pixel gray value is put forward in this paper. The algorithm calculates the pixel gray value difference between adjacent frames of image sequence and finds the longest stationary series of gray value. The pixel gray value in the longest stationary series is chose as the pixel gray value of the background. Experimental results demonstrate that the algorithm can reconstruct an accurate background image, and has the properties of rapidity, simplicity and applicability.
