Abstract :
The authors propose a mixed-mode simulator which combines a gate-level logic simulator, a switch-level simulator, and timing and circuit simulators, all of which utilize a common database. The user can choose one from gate, switch, timing, and circuit simulation levels for each subcircuit. The waveform conversion between analog and digital waveforms is carried out using a threshold function. For the convergence check of waveforms, the above simulators use an evident-driven segmented waveform relaxation method
