Abstract :
Study is made on the scattering problem of a plane wave incident on a stepped-index Luneburg lens. Then, the radiation field of the stepped-index Luneburg lens antenna (LLA) is obtained by the use of coordinate transformations and reciprocity theory. Finally, some curves useful for the design of the LLA feed are plotted
