  • Abstract
    Based on the Markov approximation, the wave structure function of Gaussian-beam and the theory of higher order-th statistics moment is applied to the problem of the wander effects for Gaussian-beam propagation in the atmospheric turbulence. The formula of the wander for Gaussian-beam propagation without/with considering the outer-scale effect is obtained, the numerical result of the wander is present and discussed for Gaussian-beam propagation along the horizontal path.
