Abstract
An alternative ambiguity function for broadband signals is derived and discussed. An example of the broadband waveform for a Gaussian signal that is reflected from a reflecting surface undergoing a constant acceleration is presented. The problem of reconstruction of the law of motion from the ambiguity function is considered
