Abstract :
The KERI-IIT Local Area Monitoring System for Micro Grid Project have a duration of 3 years. During first year of project, KERI-IIT deploy PMU equipment on IIT´s Perfect Power microgrid to monitor and analyze voltage and current waveforms. KERI and IIT will have access to raw data collected from the PMU equipment. A total of 16 PMUs are installed for deployment on the Perfect Power system (Loops 1, 2 and 3). Detailed waveform analysis conducted by the research team in second year will enable a new load characterization application based on the synchronized sensor measurements. In last year, KERI-IIT will propose new PMU which has more intelligent functions for microgrid.
