Abstract :
A sectioned winding permanent magnet linear synchronous motor (SW-PMLSM) is proposed in this paper, whose iron core is continuous, whereas winding is divided. The model of the SW-PMLSM is derived after the section structure and the winding distribution are introduced. The basic theory and implementation of the current error vector based predictive control (CEVPC) and space vector pulse width modulation deadbeat predictive control (SVPWM-DBPC) are proposed. The moving stroke of the SW-PMLSM is divided into five zones according to the position of the secondary, and the implementations for both control methods are investigated in the 5 zones. Simulations results of both control methods validate the excellent dynamic performance, and show that the SVPWM-DBPC is better than CEVPC.
